Simulation of Eddy Current Brakes using EMS inside SOLIDWORKS

In this webinar we will show you how EMS for SOLIDWORKS can be used to design and test the performance of eddy current braking systems.
Using EMS and SOLIDWORKS Motion, one can study the performance of the braking system using concurrent magnetic and motion simulation. We can calculate the torque, deceleration and the time response of the braking system. This enables the engineer to design a system with the right amount of magnetic field and test it virtually to see how long the system takes to brake.
